Sam Ryan joined Pennsylvania Rail Car shortly after its founding. He brought with him a wealth of knowledge regarding boxcar doors and components. PRC’s product-line expansion over the decades – from a handful of replacement items to an enormous array of parts, complete doors, hopper gate assemblies and other railcar components - was made possible by the hard work of its Engineering Department.
